THE YEAR 2008, A MIRACLE CHAMPENOIS A gray and veiled sky dominates the wine year 2008, so singular in a solar decade of insolent generosity. At the very moment when the harvest starts, the conditions are finally perfect: full sun and strong north / northeast winds. The maturity is revealed beyond all expectations, in a new balance, high perched. The sanitary condition is impeccable. With the sharp acidity, the conciseness and the aromatic purity so awaited from the 2008 vintage, Dom Pérignon adds thickness, depth and complexity. The light becomes less raw, more warm. Grape: Pinot noir and Chardonnay. Enjoyable on its own until 2032.
