Bottled at 43% ABV, the Isle of Skye whisky mini is made using a blend of scotch sourced from Talisker, the only distillery located on the Isle of Skye, Speyside malts, and Island malts, including in Islay. This drink is presented in a clear, transparent bottle, allowing the golden hay liquid to show off its mouthwatering character. This scotch opens to the complex aroma of barley and vanilla embraced by smoke. On the palate, it delivers a lightweight liquor filled with peated smokiness embraced by the creaminess of vanilla and sweetness of over ripe fruits. The finish leaves spiciness and nuttiness that lingers with the moderate warmth it delivers. An Isle of Skye Whisky 5cl delivers just the right volume of scotch to create a whisky-based cocktail, although because of its lightness in both body and flavour, it can be easily overwhelmed by cocktail mixers.
