An open bouquet of dried fruit, with a hint of spice

PALATE:

Smooth and full of dark forest fruits with hints of delicate vanilla and silky chocolate. This wine is elegant, yet concentrated on the palate. A complex and structured body gives way to velvety, soft tannins with a fine lingering finish

AGEING POTENTIAL:

This wine can be consumed now but will improve with further bottle ageing

BACKGROUND:

The Goyenechea Winery was founded in San Rafael in 1868 by the brothers Santiago and Narciso Goyenechea. Today it is still family owned and boasts state-of-the-art technology, including an impressive barrel room. Only qualified bottled wines are produced here using classic varietals and premium estate-grown grapes
