Sula Vineyards Chinin Blanc 2024

75cl / 12%
Situated in Nashik, India's largest grape-growing region, Sula Vineyards was established in 1997 by Rajeev Samant and Kerry Damsky. They pioneered the French grape varieties, which were first released in 2000 to wide acclaim as India's best white wines. Sula now cultivates Shiraz and Zinfandel, amongst other international varieties, such as Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blan, and is broadly recognized as India's premium wine producer. Nashik is approximately 2000 feet above sea level, north of Mumbai, in the Western Ghats mountains. The climate is mild, with winters reaching 8-10C and summers 35C. Rainfall is high. It is similar in climate to the Loire and South Africa.

Grape: Chenin Blanc 100% Aromas of quince and pear on the nose. Tropical fruit flavours with mineral undertones can be found on the palate. A notable acidity and hint of sweetness give this wine a balanced structure and refreshing character.
